The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing and influencing the Urgent Care Staff activities and the delivery of Business Services while maintaining continuous quality improvement. The Clinic Supervisor maintains operations within budgetary parameters. Effectively interacts with patient, physicians, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional business conduct and service. The Clinic Supervisor is accountable to the Director and Executive Director for the day-today management of personnel, including staffing, credential monitoring, time-keeping, employee evaluation, counseling, interview and selection of staff within established SMMG and regulatory guidelines. The Clinic Supervisor spends 80% + of his/her time is spent on the aforementioned management activities.

Uses ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle and left atrium and visualize blood flow. Assists the physician with complex ultrasound procedures. Promotes the smooth and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department through the appropriate utilization and management of all clerical functions within the department document handling and disposition, interpersonal relationships and information gathering and dispersion.

The Specialist, Cash Applications is the lead responsible for posting all incoming payments to correct patient accounts on a daily basis. Inputs and retrieves data from computer systems. Reconciles accounts daily. Applies payments to patient accounts accurately and efficiently. Ability to communicate with school age, adolescent, young adult, middle adult to older adults. Please note any duties or projects assigned will need to be completed.

The Registered Nurse provides direct care in the Maternal Child setting. Communicates with physicians               / Nurse Director / Co – workers, as appropriate about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic  studies and symptomatology. The Purchasing Coordinator (PC) provides a variety of support functions within the Materials Management/Supply Chain departments. Assist the requisitioners and other hospital staff in the procurement of goods and services for internal and external customers. Must be able to communicate with department managers regarding discrepancies, pricing, substitutes and backorders. Confirm purchase orders (PO) with outside vendors. The Interventional Endoscopy Technician works as a scrub assistant to the physician during all invasive endoscopy procedures. They perform all GI procedures including, but not limited to Biopsy, Argon Plasma Coagulation (APC), Barrx, Dilation, Specimen acquisition, Labeling and handling, and Peg Tube placement. All at the direction of the GI Physician, Surgeon, or RN. The Interventional Endoscopy Technician is also responsible for insuring safe transportation, handling, disinfection, sterilization and maintenance of the Flexible Endoscopes, and the Automated Reprocessing devices. This is an ongoing process of education and updating current practices following the manufacturer’s suggested guidelines, and recommendations of the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA), JCAHO, and the Centers of Disease Control (CDC). The Interventional Endoscopy Technician confirms GI suite procedure is as scheduled, availability, readiness and completeness of needed supplies instruments and equipment before patient enters GI Suite. They confirm integrity and appropriate preparation of all sterile items before opening and again while preparing aseptic/ sterile field.

The Infection Control Preventionist is responsible for surveillance, prevention and control of infection. Assists with policy and procedure development and implementation while maintaining CDC, OSHA, AOA HFAP/TJC/CMS/local regulatory and other regulatory agency standards or directives. Acts as a primary education consultant to hospital employees, physicians, patients, volunteers and visitors in safe Infection Control/Prevention practices. Coordinates all hospital infection control activities with the Infection Control Committee, Medical Staff and hospital employees. Responds to potential exposures by communicating with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and regulatory agencies.

The House Supervisor is a Registered Nurse who assumes administrative responsibility for the management of all department service functions on his/her shift. Makes frequent rounds throughout facility to monitor the delivery of care, oversee the quality of services and direct patient care activities as needed. In the absence of the Hospital Administrative staff, the administrative scope and responsibility is extended to all services within the hospital. Ensures efficient operations and patient flow throughout the hospital. Performs direct patient care, only as needed, within the scope of practice and competence. Ensures all temporary agency personnel are deployed and oriented in compliance with hospital policy. Assist medical staff with scheduling after hour procedures and calling in stand-by call staff members. Enhances the patient/family experience through supportive interactions and explanations of hospital policies as needed.

The Behavioral Health Charge Nurse is responsible and accountable to the Department Director for the quality of nursing staff and the delivery of patient care during his/her shift and assists the Director in the daily operation of the respective unit(s)/department.
